Description

The Digby Estate, located on Coldharbour, consists of a series of stone rubble structures built in the late 18th century to the 19th century. The buildings numbered 46 and 47 are two storeys with an attic, each featuring one window bay and an inner doorway that has a blind centre panel on the first floor. They have a slate hipped roof and a central hipped dormer. The sash windows are four panes wide with frames, and the doors are ledged with frames, complemented by shallow rectangular fanlights with four lights.

Access to buildings 48 and 49 is via a path to the left. Building 48 is also two storeys with an attic, featuring one window bay and a doorway. It has a two-light casement dormer and sash windows below with intact glazing bars. The door is ledged and framed. Building 49 has two window bays and a central doorway, with two-light wood easements that have segmental heads, and a segmental-headed doorway with a wood door. Building 50 is two storeys with two window bays and a central doorway, topped by a pantile gabled roof. It features two-light casements with small panes and a ledged door in a frame, positioned to the left of the centre.

The Digby Estate buildings numbered 33 to 39, along with Nos 1 and 2 Rose Cottage, the former Queen's Head Public House, The Cottage, and Nos 46 to 50, form a cohesive group.
