Description

The Digby Estate, located on Hound Street, consists of a row of buildings dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. These two-storey structures feature five window bays and are constructed from stone rubble with a pantile roof. The windows are two-light wood casements with small panes. Notably, No 35 has a 19th-century shop window that is three large panes wide and two panes deep, complete with a fascia and cornice above. The doors are ledged and framed, except for No 41, which has a modern oak door with cover strips. The buildings from Nos 33 to 49 (odd) are recognized as a group.
