Description

Lindell and Linwood, located at 1 Hound Street, date back to 1625 and feature late 18th century to 19th century facades. The buildings are two storeys high with two window bays and an outer doorway for each. They have a plaintile gabled roof and a stone rubble front. The windows are three-light casements with older frames, catches, and lead glazing, with segmental headed windows below. There are ledged wood doors that rise one step into a segmental headed wood frame. An external stone chimney is positioned at the right-hand end. Nos 9 to 19 (odd) form a group.
