Description
Lower Atrim Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century. It features a rubble-stone plinth with brick walls above, constructed in Flemish bond. The roof is thatched with gable ends and has stone gable copings. There are renewed brick stacks at both the left and right gables. The building has two storeys and three windows, which are renewed 2- and 3-light wooden casements with glazing bars, topped with large wooden lintels and wooden cills. The front door is centrally located, made of planks and dating from the 20th century, with a wooden lintel above. At the rear, there is a continuous outshut beneath a catslide thatch roof, with rubble-stone walls and a door approximately at the center.
