Description
Bilshay Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1800. It features red brick walls in raking Flemish bond on a stone plinth, topped with a thatch roof that is hipped on the left side and gabled on the right side, complete with a stone coping. There are brick stacks located at the center of the ridge and at the right gable. The building is L-shaped and has a former dairy at the rear. It is two storeys high and has approximately four windows, which are wooden and cast iron casements with either two or three lights, all set beneath segmental brick arch-heads. The front door, located at the center, is from the 20th century and is wooden, accompanied by a small porch with a pentice slate roof above. The rear wing of the house dates from the late 19th century.
