Description
Atrim Gore Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a core dating back to the 16th century and facing from the 18th century. It features brick walls in Flemish bond on a stone plinth, with a cob core. The roof is slate, hipped on the left side and gabled on the right. The gable wall has weatherboarding. There are two brick stacks located at the right gable and to the left of center. The building is 1½ storeys high and has approximately five windows, which are three-light wooden casements with glazing bars and wooden cills, topped with brick segmental arch voussoirs. There are four half-dormers with pentice slate roofs. The farmhouse has two doors: one on the left leading to a former dairy and another to the lobby on the left of center, which is made of wood with glass panels and dates from the 20th century. Inside, the hall features ceiling beams that create nine compartments with deep-moulded chamfers from the 16th century. The roof structure was rebuilt in the 18th century with collar beams.
