Description

No 4 Shitterton is a semi-detached cottage, likely built in the 18th century. The walls are made of a combination of plastered cob and brick, topped with a thatched roof and featuring brick end stacks, one of which is shared with No 3. The cottage has two storeys and includes a ledged door. Both the ground and first floors have two casement windows with glazing bars. There is a single-storey lean-to on the north side with a corrugated iron roof. Inside, the north ground floor room features a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
