Description
Westfield is a late 18th century to early to mid 19th century building located on Cobb Road. It is two storeys high with a slate roof and a stuccoed front. The garden front faces east and features three window bays. On the first floor, there is a sash window with glazing bars at either end and a splayed three-light bay window in the centre. The ground floor has a central sash window with glazing bars, with a door on either side, and a modern one-storey addition at the left end. The south return has two sash windows on the first floor. The west-facing front towards the road includes a tall narrow sash window with glazing bars. A flight of five steps, flanked by an iron handrail, leads up to a planked porch with a half-glazed door that has two flush panels. Westfield, along with Undercliff, Theos Cottage, and Nos 6 and 7 Cobb Road, forms a group with all the listed buildings in Cobb Terrace.
