Description
No. 67 West Street is a detached cottage, probably from the 17th century. It features rubble stone walls and a thatched roof, with a plastered stack at the left end and another stack to the left of the door, as well as a stone stack at the right end. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has a three-room and cross-passage layout. The front wall is buttressed, and there is a 20th-century battened door. The ground floor has three 20th-century casement windows with lead lights, while the attic includes three dormers with similar casements. At the rear, there is a two-storey extension with plastered walls and a thatched roof, along with a single-storey flat-roofed extension. The room to the right of the cross-passage and the central room, which serves as the hall, both have large open fireplaces with timber lintels.
