Description
No. 14 is a cottage dating from the 17th and 18th centuries. It is constructed of red brick with some rubble stone, featuring a stone plinth on the right side and a thatched roof with a central ridge stack. The cottage has one and a half storeys, including a single eyebrow dormer window with three lights. The ground floor has two doorways, two two-light casement windows, and a three-light casement window, all of which are replacements. The left-hand end wall is partially constructed of rubble stone. A small 20th-century extension exists at the rear, incorporating some stone within the walling and two two-light casement windows. To the right side there are stables and an outhouse, built of red brick with a plain tile roof and some rubble stone walling at the rear. Inside the cottage are exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace.
