Description

PACKINGTON MILL STREET SK 31 SE 5/63 No. 55 II Cottage of C17/C18. Painted brick, part timber framed with thatch roof and central ridge and right end stacks. 1½ storeys, 2 2-light casements and 1-light. Door in extension with plain tile roof to left. Roof truss in left gable. Right end 2-light casement both floors and door with simple porch. 4 panels of timber-framing visible to rear with 3-light, 2-light and door. Interior: ceiling beams and 2 inglenooks and massive purlins for single purlin roof.
