Description
Blake Farmhouse is a house from the 18th century and later. It is built of rendered brick and has plain and 20th-century tile roofs, with rebuilt brick end stacks and a projecting stack on the extension to the left. The house has two storeys and features two windows with renewed three and two-light leaded casements, which have cambered lintels. There is a stone dated 1743 on a possibly later central porch, with an outshut to the right. To the left, there is a two-storey extension with nogged eaves, two similar three-light casements, and garage doors. The rear has a coped gable wing, casements, and 20th-century windows. Inside, the house includes chamfered ceiling beams, two inglenooks—one with a massive beam—and some wall posts.
