Description

This is a mid-19th century garden wall located behind No. 36 on the southwest side of Fordington High Street. It is constructed of brown brick and features a ramp at the eastern end. In the middle of the wall, there are iron gates. The gatepiers are adorned with two 15th century Ham stone angel corbel heads, which are believed to have originated from St George's Church during its restoration in 1833, when Colson House served as the Rectory.
