Description

Salisbury Terrace comprises a row of seven early Victorian houses built in 1848. The houses are constructed of brown brick with red brick quoins, topped by a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and brick stacks. The terrace consists of 14 ranges of sash windows with glazing bars. Four bays at each end and two central bays project forward. The first-floor windows are paired and have plain, round-headed surrounds with keystones and impost blocks. Ground-floor windows and doors have moulded cornices supported on consoles, while the remaining windows and doors have plain, segment-headed surrounds with keystones only. The doors are each topped with an oblong fanlight.
