Description

The Kingdom Hall, formerly known as the Old Baptist Chapel, is a building dated 1830, located on Salisbury Street. It is a two-storey structure with a stucco front, featuring rusticated quoin pilasters and a pedimented gable. The front of the building has a slight curve. On the first floor, there are three round-headed windows, all of which have moulded architraves. The doorway is adorned with a dentil entablature and a blocking course supported on console brackets, also featuring a moulded architrave. Above the door, there is a cross carved in relief. The Kingdom Hall, along with the Old House at Home, forms a group with the consecutive properties numbered 1 to 9 on High East Street.
