Description

Nos 7 and 7A on High East Street are probably 17th century buildings constructed from rendered rubble with a pitched old tile roof and a catslide pantile roof behind. They feature chequer brick stacks and are two storeys high. The first floor has three casement windows. On the ground floor, there is one mid-19th century canted oriel shopfront, one modern door set in an original segment-headed opening, and another mid-19th century shopfront flanked by panelled pilasters. Nos 1 to 9, along with No 7A, form a group with the Kingdom Hall and The Old House at Home on Salisbury Street.
