Description

No. 8 High East Street is a Grade II listed building dating from the 18th century, with a third storey added in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick and has three storeys. The building features a range of mid-19th century tripartite sash windows with glazing bars. There is a canted bay window on both the first and ground floors, and the fascia of the shop window extends across the doorway. Nos. 1 to 9 (consecutive) along with No. 7 form a group with the Kingdom Hall and The Old House at Home on Salisbury Street.
