Description

No. 1 Hogshill Street is an attached cottage dating from around 1800. It features rubble-stone walls and an asbestos slate roof with a brick stack at the gable end. The cottage has two storeys and two sash windows with glazing bars, which have renewed wooden cills and gauged stone window heads. The front door, located on the left side, is a wooden, six-panelled design with a gauged stone head above it.
