Description

Stourcastle Lodge is a house dated 1739, constructed of rendered rubble and brick with slate and tile roofs. The main range features gabled ends while the rear wing has a hipped roof. There are rendered stacks at the gables and one located three-quarters from the left. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a five-window range. The windows are casements with two and three lights, featuring glazing bars. There are two 20th-century four-light dormers and two doorways. A stone inscribed "EB 1739" is present on the building.
