Description

The Old Malthouse is a house built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from squared rubble stone with ashlar dressings and features low-pitched slate roofs, coped gables, and end stacks. The main part of the building is three storeys high and has a three-window range of 16-pane sash windows, along with a raised plinth, floor bands, and an eaves band. There is a door located on the ground floor to the left. To the right, there is a two-storey section that includes a band and eaves band, one 16-pane sash window on each floor, and a door to the left. The end wall of the main range displays a datestone marked EB 1769, which is likely reused.
