Description

The Premises of Short and Sons is an 18th-century shop located on the west side of Market Cross in Sturminster Newton. The building is constructed of stucco with a slate roof and features brick end stacks. It has two storeys and an attic, with a two-window range. The shop front, which dates from the 19th century, includes an entrance at the corner angle. On the first floor, there are two sash windows with glazing bars. Additionally, there is a single dormer on the left side of the roof that contains a two-light wooden casement.
