Description
Nos 36 to 40 on East Street are late 18th-century buildings. They feature red brick fronts, while No 40 is finished in pebble-dash. The row has seven sash windows, with some alterations made to the ground floor windows. The buildings are two stories high with attics that include dormers. Notably, No 40 has a modern shop window, and the ground floor window of No 36 has also been altered. These properties, along with Nos 28 to 42 and the Dry Cleaners, form a cohesive group.
