Description

Spring Cottage is a detached cottage, originally two dwellings, dating to the 18th century, with 20th-century reconstruction and renewed windows. The walls are of shallow rubble stone, topped by a thatched roof with a gable end facing west and a half-hip to the east. A 20th-century brick stack is located at the west gable. The cottage has two storeys and three windows, with irregular fenestration featuring 2- and 3-light wooden casements with glazing bars, wooden cills, and lintels, all dating to the 20th century. A 20th-century plank door, fitted with two ornamental strap-hinges, is set into the west gable wall.
