Description

Pond Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has coursed rubble walls topped with a roof made of asbestos slate and pantiles. The building features a brick stack at one end facing the road and another partway along the ridge. It is two storeys tall with irregular window arrangements. Most of the windows are 20th-century, consisting of two and three-light casements, some of which have full glazing bars while others have horizontal glazing bars. Inside, notable features include a fireplace with moulded stone jambs and an oak bressummer, heavy stop-chamfered ceiling beams, and chamfered plank and muntin partitions.
