Description

The building is a garden pavilion located 50 meters south-west of Encombe House, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features ashlar stone walls and a slate roof with pedimented gables. The pavilion is divided into two sections. The eastern section has a pedimented gable with a moulded cornice, supported by four Tuscan columns, and is raised on a flight of stone steps with simple stone-balustrade walls. The western section, which is now used as a garage, has a plastered pedimented gable with a semi-circular opening, supported by three Ionic columns. Each flank wall has a plastered wing wall with stone coping that sweeps up to the temple building.
