Description
The gate piers to Mappowder Court Farm, located approximately 13 meters east of Mappowder Court, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of brick featuring wine flared headers and topped with ashlar caps and finials. The north pier is adorned with a cube finial that includes sundials, while the south pier has a ball finial. Attached to these piers is a carved brick wall that leads to a semicircular parterre, which is finished with ashlar coping.
