Description

The Butts is a detached cottage located in Tarrant Launceston, dating from the 17th century, possibly with an earlier core. The building is rendered and whitewashed, featuring some exposed timber-framing. It has a thatched roof that is hipped to the right and half-hipped on the left, with a brick stack along the ridge on the right side. The cottage is a single storey with attics and has irregular fenestration. There are two buttresses on the front wall.
