Description

The footbridge over the River Tarrant at Monkton Ford is likely from the 17th century. It is constructed of ashlar and rubble and features three segmental arches with chamfered voussoirs. The approach ramps were added in the 19th and 20th centuries, and the bridge has wooden railings from the 20th century.
