Description

Apple Tree Cottage is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It is rendered and whitewashed, topped with a thatched roof that is hipped to the right. The cottage features rendered stacks at the right end and along the ridge on the left. It has two storeys and a three-window range, with two and three-light casements that include glazing bars. The central entrance is a plank door set within a thatched porch, and there is an additional plank door at the right end. This cottage is one of the few remaining early houses on High Street.
