Description

This is a barn located 10 meters south-west of Higher Ansty House, likely dating from the 18th century. The barn features brick walls, with some remnants of timber framing visible in the rear wall. It has a thatched roof, and the front wall is buttressed, containing a blocked doorway and two 20th-century metal windows. There is a cart entrance in the rear wall, along with a lean-to extension that has a pantiled roof. The right gable wall displays burnt header decoration. Inside, there is a simple tie-and collar-beam roof. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby Higher Ansty House.
