Description

This pair of barns and an attached outbuilding, located approximately 15 meters southeast and west of Everly Farmhouse, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed with English bond brickwork and feature half-hipped corrugated iron roofs, while the outbuilding has a half-hipped tiled roof. Each barn includes a single porch, with the west barn having a hipped porch and the east barn a gabled porch. Both barns have double plank doors and 5 bay collar and tie beam truss roofs, which include some windbracing. The attached outbuilding, which is two stories tall, has irregular openings and a nearly central plank door, with ground floor openings featuring segmental brick heads. Although they have lost their original roof coverings, these buildings remain nearly complete and form an impressive group alongside the contemporary farmhouse.
