Description
21 East Street is a 18th-century building constructed from coursed Purbeck rubble with brick voussoirs. It features a pitched tile roof and stone slates above the eaves, along with red brick stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with two ranges of flush-framed cased sashes. The entrance door has four flush panels within a moulded frame and is topped by a flat hood supported by cast iron brackets. There is one attic dormer that has a hipped tile roof, tile-hung cheeks, and a casement window. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 33 (odd), 37, and 39, with Nos 23 and 25 being of local interest only.
