Description

No 14 on East Street is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick, featuring a pitched and sprocketed tile roof, with stone slates above the eaves and brick gable coping. The building has two storeys and attics. On the first floor, there are two flush-framed cased sash windows with glazing bars, along with one blocked window. The ground floor includes a bow window with sashes and glazing bars, which has moulded frames and a dentilled cornice. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels set in fielded panelled reveals, with a doorcase that has moulded pilasters and moulded consoles supporting an open pediment. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 2 to 20 (even).
