Description

No. 8 East Street is an 18th-century building constructed of red brick with a pitched tile roof and a red brick stack. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring brick oversailing courses at the eaves. The front includes one range of casement windows with glazing bars and one flush-panelled door. There is also an attic dormer that has a hipped tile roof, tile-hung cheeks, and a casement window. The building displays the badge of the Lord of the Manor. Nos. 2 to 20 (even) form a group with this property.
