Description
The gate piers at the entrance to Symondsbury College date from the late 19th century. They consist of two square stone piers and a half pier, which together create a pedestrian entrance. The piers feature ovolo moulded angles that are stopped, and they are topped with ogival caps adorned with fish scale patterns and large foliated poppy heads.
