5/218 Gate piers to Membury House

Entrance gate piers. C18-C19. Brick with stone copings. Piers of 18 inch brickwork with recessed courses and stone moulded caps with ball finials. Left pier higher, its pair probably removed leaving pedestrian gate and pier. Curved wing walls to pair of terminal piers each side. Moulded stone copings swept up to piers. Lodge to right late C19, not of special interest.
