Description

Four gate piers, two gates, and two sections of wall fronting the road to Missenden House date from the 18th century. The gate piers are made of brick and feature ball finials on pedestals and cornice blocks. Brick wall quadrants connect to the outer piers, which have cornice blocks but no finials. The gates, made of timber, have round arched heads and are from the 19th century. The piers are constructed from rubbed brick, and the linking walls have half round copings.
