Description
The Stables and Implement Shed at Manor Farm is an 18th-century structure featuring stone and brick walls, with stone on the lane side and a thatched roof that is hipped at the north end. The stables are on the ground floor and have lofts above. There are two plank doors with heavy wooden frames and large strap hinges. To the left, there is a doorway leading into a tack room, which has a round brick head with imposts and keys, and an oculus above it. A return range of stabling has been converted into a garage. The building has a collar-beam roof construction with two sets of through-purlins. The implement shed, which is continuous with the stables on the east end, also has a thatched roof and consists of five bays. The front of the shed is supported by chamfered wooden posts, and it features collar-beam roof construction with pegged collars and butt purlins.
