Description

Probably dating from the 18th century, 197 and 197a High Street are a pair of buildings with walls and roof constructed of Purbeck stone. They are one storey in height, with attics above. Number 197 has a modern door, while 197a retains an original four-panel door. The ground floor of 197 features a modern casement window. The attic space is lit by two half-dormers with hipped roofs, each containing a modern casement window. A Purbeck stone boundary wall runs along the street frontage.
