Description

Virginia House is a building likely dating from the late 18th century. It features walls and a roof made of Purbeck Stone, along with a stone chimney stack that has moulded caps. The structure is two storeys high and has a central doorway with an arched stone head, which contains a modern door. On the ground floor, there are double-hung sash windows, each with arched stone heads. The first floor also has double-hung sash windows. A projecting stone band course runs beneath the cills and above the heads of the first-floor windows. There is a square stone above a modern name plate, which may have originally displayed a name or date.
