Description
Nos 201 and 203 on High Street are 18th-century houses built with Purbeck stone walls and roofs. They are three storeys high with attics and are similar in style but constructed separately.
No 201 features a six-panel door and a modern stone porch, along with one double-hung sash window on the ground floor. There are two double-hung sash windows on both the first and second floors. The attic has a dormer with a hipped roof, shaped timber verge boards on the cheeks, and a casement window.
No 203 has a four-panel part-glazed door with a flat stone hood supported by shaped brackets, and one double-hung sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor. It also has two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars on each of the first and second floors. The attic includes a dormer with a hipped roof and shaped timber verge boards on the cheeks, but a modern window has replaced one of the double-hung sashes.
