Description

The building at 25 Cheap Street is a house of 17th-century origin, with a substantial alteration to its front in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is two storeys high and has three windows. The front is constructed of stone ashlar and features a stone cornice and parapet. The roof is tiled. First-floor windows are sash windows. Stone quoin pilasters and pilasters framing the doorway remain visible, despite the insertion of a large shop front. Internally, stop-chamfered ceiling beams are present, although they are now concealed by a new ceiling.
