Description

21 and 23 Cheap Street is a building dating from 1625, located on the north-east side of Cheap Street. It was formerly occupied by W Gloves and V L Canning Ltd. The structure is two stories high with a four-window stone front. It features a fine moulded stone cornice and a blocking course with a pebble dash front. The first floor has sash windows, one of which is blind. There is a passage entrance on the ground floor at the right-hand end, which is below a blind panel with a stone voussoir and keystone. To the left, there are large inserted shop fronts.
