Description

These are a pair of cottages built around 1915, commissioned by Sir Ernest Debenham and likely designed by Halsey Ricardo and MacDonald Gill. The cottages have concrete block walls covered in a render, thatched roofs, and brick stacks featuring ornamental details. They are two storeys high with attics. Each cottage has recessed porches with ledged doors. The ground floors each feature three casement windows with glazing bars, while the first floors have four similar windows. Each attic has two dormers with casement windows matching the rest of the building. Number 33 has a westward extension with one storey and attics, rendered walls, and a thatched roof. This extension also includes a bay window with casement windows and glazing bars.
