Description
Briantspuddle Village Hall, probably built in the early 19th century, was originally a barn. It features plastered cob walls and a thatched roof, and is a single-storey building. There is a late extension to the north with plastered walls and a thatched roof, as well as a large modern extension on the west side, which has plastered walls and a flat roof. The gable end facing the road has a half-hipped roof. The entrance includes modern oak doors set within an oak porch, and above this is a modern casement window with glazing bars. The east wall has narrow timber casements with glazing bars, and there are old cart entrances in both the east and west walls. The west entrance is mostly obscured by the late extension, while the east entrance features modern glazed doors.
