Description
Nos 15 and 16 Briantspuddle are a pair of cottages built around 1920 by Sir Ernest Debenham, likely designed by Hulsey Ricardo and MacDonald Gill. The cottages feature concrete block walls that are colourwashed, with thatched roofs and brick stacks that have ornamental details. The buildings are part two-storey and part one storey with attics. Each cottage has a lean-to extension at the front, with the thatched roof extending over this. The extensions include recessed porches, although the porch of No. 16 has been infilled. Both cottages have ledged doors, and their ground floors each contain three casement windows with glazing bars. The first floors each have one similar window, and there is one dormer in the roof of each lean-to.
