Description

The Churchyard Cross, located 2 metres south of the tower in Sturminster Marshall, dates back to around 1400. It is made of stone and features a tapered octagonal shaft that transitions to a square shape at the bottom through shaped stops. The cross is set on an octagonal base, which is also squared off with moulded projections. It is recognized as an Ancient Monument, with a county reference number of 630.
