Description

This is a group of three headstones in the churchyard, located about 9 metres south west of the tower of the Church of St. Mary and St. Julian. They date from the 18th century and are made of slate.

The first headstone features a nowy head and stepped, rounded shoulders, with well-crafted lettering and a quatrain dedicated to Thomas Colmer, who passed away in 1764. The second headstone has a rounded shouldered head and a lined border, commemorating Mary Colmer, who died in 1766. The third headstone also has a nowy head and rounded shoulders, adorned with an incised cherub's head with wings at the top, along with good lettering and a valedictory quatrain for Josias Eason Colmer, who died in 1792.
