Description

The mill, located approximately 50 metres northwest of Bridge Cottage in Zennor, is a Grade II listed building dating from the early 19th century, although it stands on an older site. Constructed from granite rubble with some dressed granite, it features a half-hipped roof covered with grouted scantle slate. The mill has a square plan and retains 19th-century machinery on the north side, with two grinding stones located on the first floor above. The hub of a former overshot wheel is still visible outside.

The building is two storeys high, with a doorway in the west wall and first-floor windows positioned towards the right in the south wall and centrally in both the south and north walls beneath the half-hip. Inside, the original floors and roof structure remain intact. The mill is currently used to showcase its original machinery as well as a collection of 19th-century tools, including those used for blacksmithing, such as bellows.
