Description

The buildings at 1-4 St Mary's Place date from the early 19th century. They are constructed with a pebble-dashed exterior, quoins, and prominent string courses. The roofs are slate-covered with gable ends and wide eaves soffits. The buildings are three storeys high, with a basement and attic, and feature six windows per building. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars; above the first-floor casements are rectangular fanlights with pointed arch panes. The doorways are plain, semi-circular headed, recessed, and have fanlights. Three hipped dormers are present.
